Last week, a bipartisan congressional staff delegation from Washington, D.C. visited Sheba Medical Center as part of a fact-finding mission revolving around healthcare issues. The delegation, led by Tim Buckley, First Secretary Environment, Science, Technology and Health Chief from the U.S. Embassy in Israel, met with Prof. Gili Regev-Yochay, Director of the Infectious Disease Epidemiology Unit, and Prof. Eyal Leshem to discuss on-going challenges associated with the global corona pandemic and the Monkeypox outbreak. The delegates also visited Sheba’s bustling Emergency Room and innovative VR rehabilitation dome.
