After Dr. Itai Pessach, director of Safra Children’s Hospital, traveled to Ukraine, he met young refugee children who had their lives turned upside down.
It was clear to Dr. Pessach that these children needed a way to cope with the crisis and associated trauma. After returning to Israel, he set out to develop a method for helping both parents and children cope with the crisis they were going through.
