Sheba Medical Center signed a collaboration agreement with Thomas Jefferson University today to advance neuroscience research and clinical care in the field.

As part of this agreement, a joint state-of-the-art Neuroscience Center will be built on the Sheba campus, which will serve as an academic research hub to provide Israeli patients with the most advanced technologies and treatments available. The Center will also become Thomas Jefferson University’s permanent Israel office.

Prof. Yitshak Kreiss, director of Sheba Medical Center, said, “This agreement…enables both of us to lead the way in the development and implementation of cutting-edge world-changing technology.”
