For the first time ever, a delegation of Latvian government, healthcare and university officials visited Sheba Medical Center this week.
During their visit, which was led by Ms. Andra Apine-Levite, the First Lady of Latvia, a wide variety of potential collaborative ventures were discussed.
“We believe in sharing our medical knowledge with Latvia and the world,” said Prof. Arnon Afek, Deputy Director General of Sheba Medical Center. “Both your patients and ours alike deserve the best medical care, which would be of benefit to both of our nations.”
